- Watch out for Scams
It seems like everywhere you turn you hear about a new scam. Especially during tax season, when scammers are taking advantage of our hypersensitivity to good old Uncle Sam. They pull out all the scare tactics, leaving threating voice messages and emails. Not just from fake IRS agents but even Amazon scams. Instead, reach out directly to numbers or contact you have on your credit card or found online. Never respond to the number or email they have provided. It is easy enough to reach out to verify if Amazon really did contact you. Or if your bank has suspicious charges. Be extra vigilant when it comes to protecting yourself from scams and remember, "If it is too good to be true, it probably is..."
